This is because CO2 diffuses differently to air. That’s why air hoses are unsuitable for CO2 systems. The plastic used for JBL PROFLORA T3 hoses is suitable for CO2 and fits all common CO2 systems.

Install the hose connections so that they are as short as possible. The shorter the CO2-carrying hoses, the faster the whole system will react when you increase or decrease the pressure at the fine needle valve. But even with short hoses your settings will always have a delayed reaction. So don't wildly turn the fine needle valve of the pressure reducer: adjust it slightly and wait a little before the number of bubbles in the bubble counter (JBL PROFLORA COUNTSAFE) changes.

CO2 hoses also harden over time and should then be replaced.

Features:

Plant Fertiliser System Accessory: Specially designed CO₂-proof hose for optimal CO₂ delivery in planted aquariums.

Simple Installation: Easily connects between your CO₂ system and diffuser (not included).

Premium Quality: CO₂-resistant material available in black or transparent/white, compatible with all standard CO₂ systems.

Prevents CO₂ Loss: Ensures loss-free gas transportation—unlike standard air hoses which are not CO₂-proof.

Package Contents: JBL T3 CO₂ hose, 3 meters in length, 4/6 mm diameter.

Technical Description:

Item Form : Aquarium CO2 Carrying Hose

Dimension : length: 3m, Ø 4/6 mm

Material : Plastic (PVC)

Ideal Pet : Fish

Ideal Breed : All breeds

Pet Life Stage : All life stages

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0561/6123/9151/files/unnamed_284abbae-cf71-4548-add2-2a23ea97c5f0.jpg?v=1745976871
